The date: Saturday, September 23rd
The time: 10 a.m. to noonish (often finishing earlier than that)
The place: South River Road in Salem
We are the proud custodians of the stretch of River Road, from the entrance to Minto-Brown Park to the intersection with Croisan Creek Road. Traffic light to traffic light, to make it easier. Come join us as we spruce up our adopted road section and spend time with local cachers - a great opportunity to put names to those logs, share caching tips and plan caching adventures. And possibly find a few caches in the neighborhood. The event will take place rain, shine or fog. You will need to dress for any possible type of weather, although the weather is usually nice this late in the summer. Rubber gloves, trash bags, colored vests and a few grabbers will be supplied by the City of Salem. Bring garden gloves for yourself, if you wish. Hats and sunscreen are strongly recommended.
All attendees will get the special 2017 Geocaching CITO Week souvenir. And there will be a raffle for goodies, to be held after everyone has returned.
