Seguint el camí de sorra, després de travessar la carretera, arribareu a una petita font amb zona de descans. Des d’aquest punt es pot accedir a la riera, sovint se l’anomena “La Platgeta” perquè molta gent hi va a mullar-s’hi els peus.
Aquesta és la ruta que van seguir els soldats borbònics aquell any, quan anaven a Vic a castigar la revolució de l'època, amb l’ajuda dels sometents i habitants dels pobles dels voltants. La ruta segueix el camí dels soldats fins on van trobar l'emboscada a la rereguarda que els va portar a la retirada: el molí de les pipes. Passa pel corriol que ressegueix la riera d'Arbúcies.
Enmig de la guerra de successió, el 13 de gener de 1714, les tropes borbòniques arriben a Arbúcies amb uns 800 soldats, més o menys. El seu objectiu era arribar a Vic per sotmetre els habitants que no volien pagar l'impost que havien posat recentment, per castigar la gent que havien recolzat a l'altre rei en aquesta guerra.

Following the sand trail, after crossing the road, you will reach a small spring and a resting area. From this point you can access the river, it is often called "La Platgeta" (the little beach) because many people goes here to wet their feet.
It is the route that the Bourbon soldiers followed that year, when they went to Vic to punish the revolution of the age, with the help of militia members and the residents of the surrounding villages. The route follows the way of the soldiers until they found the ambush in the rearguard that took them to the withdrawal: "El Molí de les pipes". It goes over the path that pass through the river of Arbúcies.
In the middle of the succession war, the 13th of January of 1714, the Bourbon troops reach to Arbúcies with 800 soldiers, more or less. Their goal it was to arrive to Vic to suppress the residents that they would not pay the tax that they have put recently, to punish the people that supported the other king in that war.
