Cliff Gilker is one of our favourite parks on the coast so we decided that for our first hide we would place the cache in our favourite part of Cliff Gilker. It is dog friendly and is a beautiful place to visit all year round.
To find this cache you will need to park in the upper parking lot and find the trail map near the playground. When you reach the trail map you can use it to find the answers to the following three questions which will give you three numbers that you will need once you find the cache.
The first digit of the sum of the length of the blue trail, plus the purple trail, plus the green trail, plus the gray trail.
The number of bridges on the map.
The number of trails shorter than 150 metres.
After you obtain these three numbers you can then proceed to N 49 25.939 W 123 38.259 to find the cache. No bushwhacking is required. Once you find the cache, keep re-aranging the three numbers until you get it right. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it and reset the combination. When logging the cache online, please refrain from posting spoilers as they will be deleted.
