Highway 29 #6 - Moove Over (Waikato) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

nzkites: We checked on this yesterday and there was no sign of the cache. Also the surrounding area is much busier than it was at the time of placement, making it hard to find this one without being noticed. Sadly we have decided to archive it.

Geocache Description:

This is the sixth 'Seed Cache' in the Highway 29 series with an aim to 'germinate' and produce lots of good caches in safe spots along SH29 and any other well travelled route we find ourselves on.

This replaces Highway 29 #4 - Mooving On GC6QHT0 by Steedandpeel that was archived 9/07/2017.

Please feel free to add your own touch to this trail and give us geocachers plenty of resting opportunities on the journey to Hamilton, Tauranga or wherever we may be going.

You'll need to leave SH29 to find this one, but only just. It's a left turn if you are heading to Tauranga.

Te Poi is a village at the base of the Kaimais. It was established in 1912 in the centre of a dairy farming district.

The Te Poi Pub, or 'Big Cow' was established in 1980. It is a local meeting place for bikers, clubs and families.

The cow arrived in 1995. It was later given eyes that light up at night and was fitted with speakers (to play moosic?)

You are looking for a simple magnetic "Mint Tin".

FIRST TO FIND: Macwatt & kahluis. Congratulations!
