The Damaraland is one of the most scenic areas in Namibia.
Typical for the Palmwag concession area are the red stones, green bushes and white grape trees.
The grape tree is a deciduous summer growing plant with a very stout trunk branching repeatedly from apex and with a dull white to orange bark, peeling off in paper-like flakes. Its fruit in summer are bright red hairy berries.
