Geocache Description:

A commemorative cache originally placed during the ESRI 2002 conference party and upgraded in 2003, again in 2004 and again in 2006! ArcInfo users will understand the name - updated slightly to reflect the third actual hiding spot!

The cache is an Altoid tin that we filled with ESRI trinkets and other stuff from the conconference we were attending in the nearby San Diego Convention Center. We recently returned to the 2006 conference and moved the cache to another new location. The coordinates have been updated and this year we remembered our GPS! There is a small log book but no pencil - logging your find on-line is preferred. Remember to bring small items for trade and a pencil. The cache is still under some rocks located in the same park but is now back on the south side facing Coronado. It will require some discretion at all times to avoid being watched!

Update Summer 2006: Now that the Summer Pops concert is an annual event we have moved the cache away from the fence! You will find it on the bay side of the park up near the stage. It is near the grass but under a grouping of three rocks. No need to scramble down the rocks near the water.

Update Summer 2005: Once again the Summer Pops Concert has fenced off the park but geocachers will find the fence to be more helpful then problematic! We added some more ESRI stuff after our annual conference event. Happy Hunting.

Update Summer 2004: The Summer Pops Concert series has fenced off a good portion of the park where this cache is hidden. But it IS still able to be hunted just outside the barrier! Good Luck.
