Fairmont Ridge is yet another scenic trail that takes you along beautiful Lake Chabot Regional Park. This paved trail leads you to KRZZ San Francisco radio site, the Nike Missile SF-31 IFC Site and Alameda County Children's Memorial Grove. Lots of trees and other scenery to enjoy are also available on this route!
The trail does start uphill so it definitely gives you a little challenge. You do not have to enter through the gate to get this cache. Whether you want to explore the trail or not is purely up to you. You can easily make this a quick park n' grab! This can be a high muggle area during the day so choose your cache time wisely.
