Kia Ora Sticky Traditional Cache

A wee intro to Sticky Forest. You may then choose to go on into the Forest and search for other caches or just go and check out the amazing bike and walking tracks that have been created by Bike Wanaka.

This cache is a quick 3-4 minute walk from the Sticky Forest car park.

This cache has been placed in memory of Bob Robertson who died in 2014. Bob created the subdivision that you are looking out over and had a great desire for the community to come together. We think he would enjoy the spirit of the geocaching community. The subdivision took over 15 years to reach fruition with the last of the sections coming to the market in 2017.

This strip of reserve was incorporated as a buffer between the forest and the residential area.

The forest is privately owned and the current owners are considering the long term use of the land.
