Moody River was a hit for Pat Boone in 1961. The song tells the story of a man who goes to meet his love at the river, by the old oak tree, and finds that she has committed suicide.
Part of a series of caches along the stopbank of the Waimakariri River. Can be accessed from Haul Road off McLeans Island Road, or Coutts Island Road . If going through gates please be aware of any closing times. Also good for walking and mountain biking. Cache is a 200ml Sistema. BYOP.
