Després de trobar el contenidor, haureu de pujar a la dreta per a arribar al següent contenidor. A partir d’aquí la ruta no és accessible per a cotxets i cadires de rodes, ja que comença a haver-hi escales.
Els avisos per a la batalla, a Arbúcies, no es van fer ni amb repic de campanes, ni convocant a crits tots els homes a davant l’església, com se solia fer. Segurament, sense dir-se gran cosa, van saber enviar missatgers als pobles oportuns. Una vegada tot preparat, només calia esperar. Els sometents de Viladrau, Sant Hilari i Espinelves estaven repartits per aquelles zones i esperaven que tots els 800 soldats borbònics passessin en direcció a Vic. Una vegada els de la rereguarda van sortir d’Arbúcies, els mateixos sometents i habitants del poble els van seguir per a preparar la batalla. Ells coneixien el terreny i tant bon punt els últims soldats van passar el molí van tallar arbres per posar la barricada i a esperar els primers trets de la batalla.
