Notably in biblical times all the way up to the present, the phrase 'a land of milk and honey' indicated a lush land that had the potential for good, healthy living. The possibility of rich land that could provide a good living for anyone planning to stay there. An enjoyable area that would allow persons to raise a family and have a comfortably long life in the land.
The Sequim valley has long provided good farmland to those that settled here. The rain shadow effect and the mild seasons are great for anyone deciding to stay here. The salt water and the Dungeness River provide year round water and food supplies. The Olympic Mountains are the weather barrier and the refuge of native animals and the people that go visit there.
The spot I have chosen for this cache has a little to do with the title, but more to do with the lifestyle of the area. It is private property. One of the owners helped me set up the cache. It is close to the buildings. You may look around.
But, please do not come searching for the cache except during business hours.
Please place small trackables in the bag with the log. Due to the size of the container, the little ones can get lost in the swag and we don't want them sitting there instead of getting to travel. Thank you.
