Diese kleine Serie, soll einen Einblick gegen was die typischen Cache Behälter in Australien sind. [EN] This is a little series which tries to give an impression what typical cache container in Australia look like.
Bei uns ist der weitverbreitetste Cache Behälter sicherlich die gute alte Filmdose, billig und oft schon daheim verfügbar für den schnellen Cache, 0815 halt. Das australische Äquivalent hierzu ist die sogenannte Mint Tin, also eine leere Minze Packung aus Metall. Genau wie bei der Filmdose, leicht verfügbar, und auch billig wieder zu ersetzten. Filmdosen, auf der anderen Seite, existieren in Australien im Wesentlichen nicht als Caches! Man muss dazusagen, dass das Klima an vielen Australischen Ort, so auch in der Caching Hauptstadt der Welt - Canberra, wesentlich trockener ist und diese Art der Dose dort sicher länger hält als hier, wir werden sehen… Wenn Leute auf der Bank sitzen, ist es auf jeden Fall geraten den Hint zu lesen um unauffälliger suchen und bergen zu können. The equivalent in Australia is the mint tin, similarly cheap and available. Film cans, on the other hand, basically don’t exist in Australia as caches! On obvious difference is the seal in those tins and the fact that they will rust, which both is less of a problem in the often dryer climate in some parts of Australia, like in the World Caching Capital – Canberra.
