Geocache Description:

大仏鉄道は、1898年（明治31年）から1907年（明治40年）までのわずか９年間、加茂と奈良を結ぶ区間９.９ｋｍを営業していた路線の愛称名で、当時の資料も乏しいことから「幻の大仏鉄道」と呼ばれることもあります。

「梅見台１」の大通りの交差点の北、木津警察署木津南交番の裏の畑地へ下ると交互に積まれた色の違う煉瓦がきれいな模様柄を創り出している松谷川隧道の遺構があります。
