Geocache Description:

Let's get together for a 30 minute meet & greet in the Elmwood Park boat basin. The event itself is a meet & greet, available for anyone interesting in attending. After the event is over, those who would like to paddle will launch from the boat basin as a group, heading toward the Dundee Dam in Garfield (down & back approximately 4 miles in total).

When:
Sunday, October 1st, 11am - 11:30am
Rain date: Sunday, October 15th, 11am - 11:30am

Parking:
The parking lot can accommodate a lot of vehicles. If full, one can park on a local street. Please do not park in the high school lot; signs say it is permit-only, and violators may be towed.

I'd like to accommodate as many people as possible for paddling, so when logging a Will Attend, please note the following:

Whether you plan to paddle or just meet & greet
If you plan to paddle, if you have your own river transportation, and whether you can accommodate any others who don't
If you would like to paddle but don't have a means to do so; hopefully someone with extra capacity can coordinate with you
