E' possibile arrivare in auto fin nei pressi del lago. Infatti salendo da Maccagno verso Indemini con la provinciale 5 troviamo due deviazioni a sinistra per il Lago Delio: la prima a Ronchi e la seconda a Garabiolo che conducono al parcheggio che precede il lago.

Continuando sul sentiero lato est.
