This cache was hidden to mark our own 2017 sibling reunion at Hanmer Springs, which took place on the first weekend of August 2017. All six siblings in our family were present (a rare occurrence) and geocaching was one of the activities we embarked on during our stay. At the end of the weekend, we chose to commemorate it by placing a cache here in this picturesque spot in Hanmer Springs, not too far from the town centre.
You're looking for a Sistema 200ml container. The reserve is fairly open but we have hidden this one away from major muggle activity. You'll just need to pick your moment. At the time of placing (August 2017), a lot of building was happening over the road – it looks like this will be shops/cafes in future so even more stealth may be required.
Spare a thought for any siblings you may have when you find this. Remember them if they've passed away or give them a call and catch up for a chat if they're still here. (Even better, meet up like we did.) Siblings are typically the relationships that we'll have for most of our lives, so worth keeping hold of (even if they drive you crazy from time to time!).
