Geocache Description:

Theo's favourite types of caches are the magnetic ones, so we thought it was about time we hid one of those! This isn't a nano-cache and we've managed to fit in a pencil, however there isn't much room for anything else. Medal attached to the cache for the FTF :)

The Old Court House Recreation Ground in Barnet is named after the court next to the park, which was active until the First World War. Previously the land was used for pastures, a brewery and stables. The park received a Green Flag Award for 2009-2010 due to its many conservation areas, which you can see as you walk through. There are lots of things to do/see including a children's play area, a pond, gardens and rockeries. The park is open from 8am to dusk and access can be gained via Wood Street, Manor Close, Mays Lane and Orchard Road. The cache is a small magnetic container which (for the moment) contains a pencil to sign the log book. Please replace the cache at knee height, as I have marked this as wheelchair accessible.
