How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Number 461 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box. The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

Differing from most other fine pairs in our area (up until now anyway) this fine pair is a traditional cache and requires no additional work to find the container as it is placed directly next to the pair.

Another unusual thing about this pair is that the phone box contains no phone but instead contains a defibrillator, a good way of keeping decommissioned phone boxes to good use!

Sancton is a quiet village and roadside parking should be available beside the cache.

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k.

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit to request a number to avoid any duplication.

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via at to have yours added.
