Geocache Description:

Another meet and greet at GC43 by a cacher from Germany? Nope!

  1. It's not a typical meet and greet event for 30 minutes.
  2. I'm not from Germany but from Bavaria. wink

Second point brings us to the theme of the event. Some cachers may know what it's about but other ones have no idea what I'm up to.

So what is Bavarian breakfast? When people think about Bavaria they are likely to connect it to Munich, Oktoberfest, the Bavarian Alps and beer. Of course Bavaria has some traditions too. A typical tradition is the Bavarian breakfast at which you eat Weißwurst and Brezen.

So the plan for this event is simple. I'll bring these with me to Ireland and see if Irish people like them as much as Bavarian people do.

Where? Bray (see posted co-ordinates)

When? Sunday, 24th September 2017 beginning at 9 am until 12 am

Why? To have a good time with you and eat some Weißwurst and Brezen. Of course there is a chance to discover TBs and Coins and get them on the move. Lots of time for talking about geocaching and the crazy stories about it too.

Please note that this event involves some planning. If you plan to attend please log a "Will attend" and how many people want breakfast. I need that information latest until Wednesday, 20th September as I'll buy food on Thursday and fly over on Friday. If you don't log a "Will attend" until that date you might not get a Bavarian breakfast. As for drinking please bring along your own drinks (coffee etc.). Thank you!

Of course there's no need to eat breakfast at the event. Furthermore you can bring your own food if you aren't sure about that special kind of breakfast. Just be there and have a great time!

I'm looking forward to meeting you and sharing this special tradition from Bavaria!
