The crew that journeyed to Ginini Falls in December of 2016 came across a very nice slab of rock, with a very nice cairn at a very cool set of coordinates.
From the carpark, trek along the Mt Franklin Walk for 2.5km. The track gradually deteriorates as you go, mainly from the regrowth. I suggest entering the scrub at the marked reference point, then head to the cairn. There you'll find the minute decimals as: 444 444. That's right - Double Triple Four
Once at the cairn, identify the single digit that appears most in the coordinates at this waypoint (if you're having trouble figuring it out, then you don't deserve the smiley!!! Extra hint - it appears eight times). Add this digit to the east coordinates to get GZ. You'll find it's a very short walk - let's face it, you've done the hard yards!! Then look under a rock, where you'll find the cache.
How about adding a rock to the cairn...make it even 'nicer'.
Now that you're here, why not continue to Ginini Falls....how hard can it be??
In the gallery, you'll see the map image of the gpx route from 10 Dec 16, which passes through GZ, on the way to the Falls. Image is kindly provided by JohnnyBoyACT.
