This walk will start at Dartington Link 1 and continue towards the river leading you to Dartington Trail 5,6 and 7. If you wish continue to do 7a/7b/7c this new path will take you pass Deer Park Wall (on your left) and bring you back to the main car park. Dartington Estate have carried out a lot of remedial work and there are several informative plaques about the history of the estate along the way. Near cache 7c you will find a viewing platform and hopefully you may spot some fallow deer and so why not bring a pair of binoculars?
Be aware that this walk can be muddy after rainfall and so sturdy footwear is recommended.
Parking: As from the 1st May 2019. there are new parking charges at Dartington Hall as follows: 1 hour £1 (free at The Shops at Dartington) 2 hours - £2, 3 hours - £2.50, 4 hours - £3.50, £6 - All day. £1 after 6 pm until 10 am. Public toilets are available.
Dog friendliness: Dogs are welcome on the estate but must be kept under close control always - on leads around livestock and particularly during the nesting season.
