La cache si trova in prossimità di una baita denominata “Centralina”. Il nome deriva dal fatto che approssimativamente tra gli anni 1930 e 1960 conteneva una piccola centrale idroelettrica che serviva il paese di Codera.
Più volte rimaneggiata è divenuta prima abitazione privata e dal 2002 è sede della base Scout “Aquile Randagie”.
Questa base è dedicata alle Aquile Randagie, ovvero a quel gruppo di scout che clandestinamente dal 1928 al 1945 sfidarono il regime fascista continuando le attività vietate dal regime dittatoriale. Invece di partecipare all’Opera Nazionale Balilla, gli Scout continuarono la loro attività educativa, secondo lo spirito del loro Fondatore Banden-Powell, che si propone di favorire la crescita di buoni cittadini, attivi, altruisti, amanti della natura.
Dopo l’armistizio dell’ 8 settembre 1943 (e conseguente invasione tedesca) e fino alla liberazione (Aprile 1945) le Aquile Randagie organizzarono anche OSCAR (Organizzazione Supporto Cattolico Assistenza Ricercati) e aiutarono più di 1000 ricercati a riparare in Svizzera salvandosi la vita.

The cache is located near a hut called "centralina". The name comes from the fact that roughly between the years 1930 and 1960 it contained a small hydroelectric power station that served the village of Codera.
It has been restored several times and become a private home. Since 2002 it has been the base of the "Aquile Randagie" Scout base.
This base is dedicated to the “Stray Eagles” (Aquile Randagie), a scout group which clandestinely from 1928 to 1945 challenged the Fascist regime continuing the scout activities prohibited by the dictatorial regime. Instead of participating in the Balilla National Opera (the fascist educative organization), this small Scout group continued their educational activity, in the spirit of their Founder Banden-Powell, which aims to promote the growth of good citizens, active, altruistic and nature lovers.
After the armistice of September 8, 1943 (and German invasion) and until the liberation (April 1945), the Aquile Randagie also organized OSCAR (Organizzazione Supporto Cattolico Assistenza Ricercati) and helped more than 1000 people to find refuge in Switzerland so saving their lives.
Now the base is home to the scout educational activities of groups coming from all over Italy and occasionally abroad.
A second Scout Base “la casera” is located more up in the valley between Bresciadega and Brasca.
