This cache is on a small piece of open ground on the edge of Market Harborough, close to St Luke’s Hospital. Here we found six trees growing from one base which seemed quite unusual so we hid our cache here so you would see this too. It’s fairly quiet but watch out for kids playing and dog walkers. Please bring your own pen/pencil. Sadly this cache went missing over the Easter holidays so we have replaced it in smaller container in hope that it remains harder to see. Please help us by putting back where you found it, thank you.
St Luke's Hospital was built on the site of the Market Harborough Union Workhouse which opened in 1837. In the early 20th century, the Workhouse was demolished and the site became an infirmary known as St Luke's. In March 2017 a new treatment centre opened on the front of the site costing £7.5million.
