At the given coordinates, you'll find the usual cache container. As with the first two in the series, your task is to figure out how to open it. So, yes, this is a field puzzle, a very simple one. To solve it, you'll need to find a handy tool--wow, that sure will be easy, since it's within a few inches of the cache--and then figure out how it might help you access the logbook.
