It is an entry point to the Oakerthorpe Nature Reseerve and Woodland Walk. It could be used as a cache and dash or a wider scale woodland adventure taking you on a walk around the Nature Reserve. http://www.derbyshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/reserves/oakerthorpe. The cache is a small container along a public footpath.
