Corfu panorama Traditional Cache

Situated at the end of a 1km trail up the mountain is the 13th century church of Agios Georgios.
People from the nearby village hike this route and gather here every April the 23rd to celebrate Saint George.

If you make it to the top you will be rewarded by a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. You can easily see the mainland, Glyfada beach on the distance, Ermones beach on the opposite direction, golf courses, Ropas valley, Pelekas, Corfu town, Vidos island, Mathraki island on the distance and many other landmarks.

You will need hiking shoes, some water. The path is shaded by folliage on the last 2 / 3 of the distance.

The cache is a small plastic container containing logbook, pencil, small greek booklet some shells from the beaches we visited.
