I've lived in Massanutten for several years now and my family and I love it here. We've found all of the cache's on the Kaylor Knob trail and have hiked it many times. And everytime I hike it, I notice there's another trail, called the Ravine Trail, which branches off about a half mile in. I've always wondered why the main trail is saturated with caches every tenth of a mile, while the ravine trail has none. This cache represents a number of firsts for 2hokies:
1 - First time hiking the ravine trail
2 - First cache on the ravine trail
3 - First time we've hidden an ammo can or a regular sized cache (as the ammo can was muggled, we have replaced it with something other than an ammo can)
You're looking for a green ammo can hidden just off the trail. Please replace and conceal cache as you found it.
Please note the terrain rating is not a rating for making it to the cache, but for making it back to the main trail. Pretty steep.
