ABD AL-RAHMAN I COIN HOTEL Traditional Cache

Abd Al-Rahman I Unico superviviente de los Omeya, tras la matanza de su familia.  Arribo a las costas de Almunecar el 15 de Agosto de 755.  Proclamo el Emirato de Cordoba, independiente de Bagdad, inclando una dinastia en Al-Andalus que alcanzaria momentos de gran esplendor.  El Ayunamiento de Almunecar erigio esta estatua a su figura , obra del escuitor granadino Miguel Moreno.

English : Abd Al-Rahman I, The only surivor of the Umayyad dynasty, he landed on the coast of Almunecar on the 15th of august, 755.  Later he founded the emirate of Cordoa,  which was independent of Bagdad and so beginning a new dynasty in Al-Andalus which achieved moments of great splendor.  Almunecar town hall erected this statue in his honour.  This statue is a piece of work by Miguel Moreno.
