This cache is located in the Cosperville/Elkhart Township Cemetery. I grew up going to the Cosperville Baptist Church (now named Bell Tower Bible but it'll always be Cosperville to me) and have walked through this cemetery over the years and when I realized that there wasn't a cache located here, I knew I needed to place one.
I am incorporating the Veteran's Memorial located at the center of the cemetery because every Memorial Day Sunday, our church would read through the listing of every single veteran buried there and which war they were in. Cache #1: Coordinates are listed above! This cache will contain the coordinates to the final cache. In order to open the combo lock on Cache #1, you will need to visit the Veteran's Memorial (which I have set up as a Waypoint) and count the number of Veterans found laid to rest in this cemetery. That number will be the combo for the lock box. -->For example, if you count 87 veterans, the combo will be 0087. Once you put the combination in, you need to push the button on the side of the container to remove the lid of the lock box. Then pull the lock box apart and the coordinates are located inside for the final cache location. Once you write down the coordinates, please put the lock back on the top of the lock box and change up the number combination for the next geocacher and place the cache back where it was found! Cache #2: This cache can only be found with the coordinates found in Cache #1, not the above posted coordinates! This cache will have a FTF souvenir and will start with a trackable and some swag. Good luck! Cemetery hours are sunup to sunset. Please abide by cemetery rules. No night caching. Cache is not located in or near the graves. Do not park on the grass. Also, any "Found It" logs on the Geocaching website not found signed on the final cache will be removed. Please bring your own pen/pencil. Any logs not signed is considered a "DNF" and will be removed.
Update 7/4/2024: I had to move the final stage as GZ went up in flames. Please let me know if you encounter coords issues.
