This is Cyrus:

While he doesn’t come geocaching with us, and we doubt he cares we’ve christened a cache with his name, he’s an important part of our life.
He’s a rescue cat, captured behind a pizza place a municipality or so to the east of us and has come a long way from the shaved, sickly rat we brought home. Secure in his source of food, he’s stopped dumpster diving in the kitchen. Mostly.
He’s also the most aggressively affectionate cat I’ve ever known, forcing himself into your lap and up into your face if you’re not paying enough attention. Sometimes, he gets carried away and may nibble the hand or chin he’s rubbing against. He also may be part dog.
And we’ve had him for very nearly four years now, making the vet’s best estimate of his age at 7-ish.
Note: this cache is located a short walk (or ride) down an ATV trail accessible from Kimmett Side Road.
