This location is inside a National Park. Normally a National Park pass / entry fee is required, but not this year! Happy 150th Canada! Entry to all National Parks is free!!! There are three entrances to the park. South gate accessible from the yellowhead, North gate near the town of Lamont, or the sometimes tricky to get to West gate accessible from dirt range roads. After entering the park, you are looking for the Astotin lake area, beach and parking lot (not the golf course). Geo-dogs can come but owners need to abide by all park rules. Geo-kids can also come (playground nearby). Flush toilet washrooms are not too far away. No dogs are allowed in the washrooms.
