Over the years, Mianus River Park has been taken care of by locals dedicated to continuous improvements to hiking and biking trails, preserving the park's native flora and fauna, removing invasive species and facilitating trout management on the Mianus river. More details on the park and activities can be found on the site of Friends of Mianus River Park. I would like to hold the CITO to contribute to the improvements in this lovely park.
As this is the first CITO I organize, we will take it on a light note and will mainly pick up trash and weed.
Please plan on bringing gloves.
Last but not least, there will be couple new caches placed in the park for the event participants :) Looking forward to see you all there!
