Geocache Description:

Ayscoughfee Hall Museum can be found in Spalding, it is a Medieval Hall dating back to around 1451.

Ayscoughfee Hall Museum can be found in Spalding, it is a Medieval Hall dating back to around 1451. The grade I listed building was closed in 2003 due to extensive renovation and refurbishment works. After the work was completed 3 years later it reopened to the public.
In 2007 it won Lincolnshire's Museum of the Year.

The original bowling green was built in 1908. The green is regularly used by the Ayscoughfee bowling club, and is still proudly maintained by the Halls gardeners creating a pleasant feature that complements the back/rear of the Museum. The tennis courts are a recent addition to the gardens leisure facilities, replacing what was empty field and old grass courts which once housed the Halls orchard.

You are looking for a small container, The original container (see Photos) was Muggled a while after placing it so was replaced with something smaller.

** Cache placed with kind permission from Julia Knight (Museum Officer) **
