] Ansamblul Mitropoliei este format din Biserica Sf. Gheorghe (stânga) și Catedrala Mitropolitană (dreapta).
Biserica Sf. Gheorghe a funcționat pentru 100 de ani drept Catedrală Mitropolitană fiind construită în perioada 1761-1769 de către Gavriil Callimachi (1710-1786), mitropolitul Moldovei.
Catedrala Mitropolitană a fost ridicată în 1887 pe locul unde s-au aflat două biserici mai vechi: Biserica Albă (din secolul al XV-lea) și Biserica Stratenia (din secolul al XVII-lea). Pictura interioară a fost realizată de maestrul Gheorghe Tattarescu iar sfințirea a avut loc la 23 aprilie 1887 la ceremonie luând parte regele Carol I și regina Elisabeta. Din anul 1889 a fost adusă, de la Biserica Sf. Trei Ierarhi, racla cu moaștele Cuvioasei Parascheva, ocrotitoarea Moldovei.
Cum Biserica se închide după ora 20, cache-ul nu este accesibil noaptea. Nu este 24/7.

] The Metropolitan Ensemble consists of the Church of St. George (left side) and the Metropolitan Cathedral (right side).
The Church of St. George has been functioning for 100 years as a Metropolitan Cathedral and was built between 1761-1769 by Gavriil Callimachi (1710-1786), Metropolitan of Moldova region.
The Metropolitan Cathedral was built in 1887 on the site of two older churches: the White Church (15th century) and the Stratenia Church (17th century). The interior painting was made by the master Gheorghe Tattarescu and the sanctification took place on 23 April 1887 at the ceremony taking part King Carol I and Queen Elizabeth. Since 1889 here has been brought the relic with the relics of the Moldavian Protector Parascheva.
Sometimes, the Church is closed after 8 PM so the cache is not available at night. Not 24/7.
