Mumbly peg was a game I played as a youth. There are many versions but the one I would play went something like this. Your opponant and you each have a knife of some sort, usually a pocket knife. You stand with your feet together. You toss the knife no less than a foot outside one of the legs of your opponant. If it sticks, the opponent must place his foot at that spot. Then it is your opponant's turn to do the same to you. If the knife does not stick, the feet go back together. The game ends when one person falls over. You probably should not play this game here. Finding the cache is much easier and you get less weird looks.
