NIP 2017 #14 Lord Loki's Carnevil Returns
This cache is the 14th cache in a series of 13 cache placed for the 2017 Nightmare in Preston Event, where Lord Loki's Carnevil returns to the old logging town this year. This cache is a special cache. You'll know why if you were at the event.

The above is what I wrote in 2017 when this cache came online. Now it's 11-3-23 as I write this. I think it's time for some history. The nightmare event's held by SirKarp & Nw Stinkerbella are an annual halloween themed event. At this cache you'll be about a tenth of a mile from the VASA hall (up 324th). Though we hosted the first nightmare event at another hall, we held many of them and certainly the best of the original style nightmare events at this hall. One of the things that we did in 2016 & 2017 was to have a cache series for the event. This cache was placed for the 2017 event and it is today the last of the 13 caches that survives. We knew it was likely that the event would morph after this year, so we picked this extra special spot so close to where we had so much fun. The following year we host the first Nightmare event in Carnation, which is a weekend of caching, camping and halloween creep at Tolt Maconald park. But this place will always be a special one for us.
It is easer to access this cache from 324th rather than the upper Preston road, as brush has grown up along that road, making it much harder to access from there. But from 324th it's a lot easier.
