. Meet in the car park off Newport Road at 11.00- finishing around 1.00 then adjourn to the nearby pub.

Welcome to Cache In Trash Out At Stone Pit Field .. CITO Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources! Geocachers around the world celebrate International Cache In Trash Out weekend annually by hosting and participating in Cache In Trash Out Events in their local area.
All that is needed is an hour or so of your time to walk the route and find litter to place into your bin bag. Chatting, and generally having fun around the lakes is strongly encouraged! There are also a few caches around the area to find if you haven't already done so. Unfortunately I am unable to pre book the weather so please come prepared! Old clothes and sensible shoes or boots are definitely the order of the day, maybe even wellies. but if you have your own work or gardening gloves please bring them along. plus an official souvenir for those who attend
We will be litter picking around the two lakes and surrounding area Rubbish bags provided please bring your own pick up stick!!.
