Geocache Description:

A cache to give you a history lesson.

This cache is in Nevada City and will challenge your abilities of stealth.  The cache is at the location of George Ives trial and hanging on 21 Dec 1863.  Nevada City is a combination of buildings from all over Montana brought together to represent a town that was in the Box Elder Gulch during the gold boom that started here during the Civil War.  It was the largest placer gold find ever in the lower 48 states.

Stealth should be used in retrieving and replacing the cache during the summer tourist season. Muggles will be everywhere. Cache is also log only, so bring your favorite writing implement.
