xa-mar-xa: Challenge VOGELBIRD/sam&co
Aquest repte va ser arxivat amb l’argument que una “cadena de catxés” és una “àrea geogràfica definida pel jugador”, cosa que, segons HQ, no està permesa segons les normes actuals dels Challenge Caches.
Personalment no comparteixo aquesta interpretació, ja que aquest repte no es limitava a cap zona concreta: qualsevol jugador, d’on fos, podia aconseguir-lo seguint el mateix criteri.
El comprovador oficial, creat per Vogelbird (conegut dissenyador de reptes d’arreu del món), mostra de manera automàtica la cadena més llarga que ha aconseguit cada jugador i per on ha de seguir per assolir el repte, sense restringir la ubicació ni definir cap àrea concreta.
Entenc i respecto la feina dels revisors i de HQ, però crec sincerament que, en aquest cas, s’ha aplicat la norma amb massa amplitud.
Deixo aquesta nota simplement per deixar constància dels fets i com a referència per a futurs reptes semblants. Al final, aquest joc va de compartir, aprendre i passar-ho bé, i crec que aquest repte reflectia precisament això.
Gràcies a tots els que vau participar o vau provar d’aconseguir-lo — m’ha fet molta il·lusió veure com el repte us motivava!
This challenge was archived with the argument that a “chain of caches” is considered a “user-defined geographic area,” which according to HQ is not allowed under the current Challenge Cache guidelines.
Personally, I don’t share that interpretation, because this challenge was not limited to any specific area — any player, from anywhere in the world, could complete it following the same criteria.
The official checker, created by Vogelbird (a well-known international challenge designer), automatically shows the longest chain each player has achieved and the path they should follow to reach the goal, without restricting location or defining any specific area.
I understand and respect the work of reviewers and HQ, but I honestly believe that in this case, the guideline has been applied too broadly.
I’m leaving this note simply to record the facts and as a reference for future similar challenges. After all, this game is about sharing, learning, and having fun — and I truly believe this challenge represented exactly that.
