I recently visited the privately owned Colne Valley Postal History Museum in Head Street, Halstead. It is a collection built up over 20 years. It is only open twice a year under the Heritage Open Days scheme. During a chat with the curator, he suggested that if I were to hold an event in his front garden, he would open his museum especially for the attendees.
This was too good an opportunity to miss so here we are.
Start... Noon Finish... 1230 and then visit the museum if you wish. I hope that you do, you will be amazed at the items on display.
I am sure that this place is wheelchair accessible but there is a very small drop in level to access one of the museum buildings.
There is plenty of parking space in Head Street near the museum.
