Not a whole lot going on around here lately, but much of Troy's heavy industry was along the river not far from where you're standing. Some of you may remember the large King Fuels tank that would greet people as they drove north on I-787.
So, what can you see here now? To the north is the Menands Bridge. If you look south and up the hill you can see WRPI's transmitter. If you look closely at the guardrail, you may also spot the geocache.
Note: even though this is a low-traffic road, it is used by heavy machinery. Please be safe and park on the gravel shoulder on the east side of the road.
