While travelling along Highway 38 to Murupara, we noticed that there weren't a lot of caches in the area. I can fix that!
I am told that this was once the location of a unique Geckoh cache. Today, we have recycled more than just this site. The cache container is special too.
Note: Galatea Road follows the meandering Rangitaiki River until it connects with Highway 30, near Te Teko. You will drive over the Matahina Dam en route. Park carefully and be observant at all times as the road can get busy. This is not a difficult hide. This cache can fit small trackables and toys. You will need to bring your own pen/cil.
