You can not go to the cave by car. From the parking there is a free shuttle-bus to the cave. The open hours of the cave are daily from 8.00 to 20.00.
For logging the earthcache, you have to visit the cave.

This earthcache leeds you to a cave, which transitions have a length of more than 2 km. In this cave there was found a 700000 year old skeleton.
The Cave of Petralona is a stalactite cave which is presented in a lot of different colors. That is why the cave has a coloured nickname. The nickname is "......... Stones"
