This cache is on White Head Island. You get to White Head via a free ferry from Grand Manan Island, the largest of the Fundy Isles in the beautiful Bay of Fundy.
There is an hour and a half ferry trip you will need to take to get to Grand Manan. (The trip is free to get to the Grand Manan, but you pay to get back to Blacks Harbor on the mainland.) Once on Grand Manan, head for Ingalls Head and the free ferry to White Head. If you take your car, it’s best to go early in the day to be sure you can get back to Grand Manan that day. The ferry is first come, first served, and has a small capacity. Once on White head, answer the following questions:
What was the name of the ship that sank?
When did it sink?
How many crewmen are memorialized?
