Another view of Avakas from above. If you are doing the Avakas Gorge hiking loop, you may want to pop here for a diversion on your way back. You will be able to see where you have been walking. Otherwise, you will need x 4x4 to get near.
Once you have reached the end of the drivable track, you will need to pay attention. At no point will you have to put your life at risk while doing this cache, so if your GPS tells you to hang off a cliff, please ignore it. You will go fairly close to a cliff, but you will not have to do anything life threatening. If you are unsure though, just give up on the cache and enjoy the view. I would rather you post a photo of the scene than kill yourself It won't count as a find, but you will have a nice snap!
And while you are there, shout at the opposite side of the gorge. There is a superb echo.
The cache itself is fairly easy to find, I didn't want people clambering over too many rocks once they are out there. You will want decent footwear here, because you definitely don't want to be tripping up. It is a very long way down.

Reading through some of the comments, I feel I should point out that when I placed this cache, I was expecting people to come at it from above. I didn't expect people to approach it from the floor of the gorge.
