This cache is placed a little way off the main Hayling Billy Line trail that run next to the bike adventure course. A small opening in the tree opposite the adventure course reveals a lovely view of the fields and water to Portsmouth.
The Hayling Railway Line served the community for over 100 years, finally stopping its service in 1963 when the line was abandoned and left to ruin. In 1984 a dedicated team of volunteers decided to make use of this route and cleared it to make a public cycle way. It is a heritage that many of the locals feel nostalgic about. A beautiful walk for anyone, and one that I value hugely and enjoy as often as I can.
The cache is a small clip lock tupperware. There is swag a plenty! This can be a high muggle activity area , especially using the adventure course, so stealth is required. A little thorough searching may be necesary.
