Hid the cache on beautiful Elk island when there were lots of sand bars so It was easy to reach without getting wet. . At other times if water is high you may get wet or a watercraft may be needed. Do not attempt to swim across if water high or there is a current. In winter the island can be reached on foot or with snowmobile.
On way I saw some very berry bear scat and bear paws. In my haste and because I was feeling bear-y scared I didn’t take as many readings as I would have liked but coordinates should be good.
