This cache has been hidden for the Vogrie VII event being held on 8th October 2017. Come and enjoy the beautiful autumn colours in the stunning grounds of the historic Vogrie Country Park. There are 11.5 miles of signed footpaths passing through sweeping parkland, woodlands and the River Tyne Valley. There are many fine trees that tend to confuse your GPS, we have tried our hardest to get accurate coordinates but please be warned! Please return the cache exactly as you found it. Enjoy.
Since the last Vogrie event a new earthcache by mmmm0000 was placed in the park. We had great fun exploring a path we'd never been on before, despite visiting the park for almost a decade! We thought it would be fun to put some caches that lead you out to Like A Lost City and encourage people to visit the earthcache.
I'm not very good at earthcaches but learnt a lot about meanders when we included A River Runs Through It for a previous Vogrie event. You may spot another meander in the park as you walk to this cache. The cache is a Lock and Lock container with Stamp and Pad (please dont remove) and some small swaps.
