A few of us from out west have been meeting every month or so for a drink and a chat. Usually it is a pretty informal affair but in November we will be showing the Geocaching International Film Festival, a selection of the worlds best Geocaching Short Films. This year is particularly exciting because we have two local finalist PigWig2 and Lat & Long Junkie, so you really you can't miss this one
The reel consists of 17 short films with a total duration of about one hour. I will start the screening at 6:30pm.
In the past the reels have been entirely suitable for junior cachers. I expect the same will be true this year but I will check when I get to see the reel (about a week before the event) just in case. Also junior cachers are welcome at The Retro Bar for the event as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
We will have exclusive use of The Retro Bar for the event. There will be some little snacks provided and you will be able to get food and drinks from the bar. There is plenty of parking behind the venue which you can access via Princeton Street or the lane way between the sports shop and the cycle shop.
That's about it, so until then, happy caching!
