An easy to find traditional cache at a spot with great view.
If you drive the road from Sandur to Skopun you will most likely notice Knúkur - Yes it is the one with the antenna on top. The hike up here is rather short, but involves some ascent. I suggest parking your car at the coordinates provided (see waypoints). With a good (4x4) car you might drive the road even further uphill, but in the end you will have to walk anyway. From the parking coordinates follow the road up to the first trailhead. From there you may directly hike towards the antenna (no visible trail). The second trailhead is just one of several possibilities to reach the top easily. Given you have good weather you will have great view over Skopun, Sandur and some of the other islands.
